The Legend of Zelda: Broken Promises aka DELAY!!!

imageNintendo has done it again. Yet again they have delayed Zelda Wii U to the year 2017. Zelda Wii U was announced in 2014 and was listed to be released in the Winter season of 2015, but look where we are now.

So far the game has been delayed for two years, the first delay  being announced in the Summer season of 2015 and the second delay being announced two weeks ago. However not everything is bad though. Zelda Wii U will also be released on Nintendo’s new Console the NX. So it appears that Zelda Wii U/NX is getting the Twilight Princess treatment as the Zelda game Twilight Princess was also delayed and then ported on to the Wii and GameCube 10 years ago.

Another thing that isn’t bad, (at least for us Zelda fans) is that Nintendo’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3, presentation will be heavily focused on presenting Zelda Wii U/NX. Also the game will have a playable demo available for anyone going to the expo. There is also a website for Zelda Wii U and some new artwork of Link.

So although the delay is a bit of a downer and makes some people extremely angry there are some good aspects to it too. There’s going to be a dual release, E3 is going to be heavily focused on it, and finally it is almost guaranteed that Zelda Wii U/NX will be an amazingly good and polished game that may even surpass the greatness of the legendary and most highly rated game of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
